Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 23 September 2026

Scope of this policy and the services it covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses, training programmes and related services offered through stagelinkfy. The services include professional instruction in video operation, live signal management, content distribution, camera work and the creation of high-quality media feeds for news and broadcasting. It governs transactions made by customers located in the United Kingdom and explains how payments are handled, when contracts are formed and the circumstances under which refunds may be issued. The policy does not cover third-party platforms or resellers unless expressly stated in writing by stagelinkfy.

Prices, currencies, taxes and additional charges

All prices are displayed in British pounds sterling (GBP). Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate is included where applicable under UK law. Additional charges such as payment processing fees or currency conversion costs may apply if you choose a payment method that incurs them. stagelinkfy will show the total amount due before you confirm any order. No hidden fees are added after checkout. Promotional pricing, if offered, is clearly marked with its end date and any conditions that must be met to qualify.

Accepted payment methods, authorisation and security

We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers and approved digital wallets. All payments are processed through secure third-party gateways that comply with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. When you submit payment details an authorisation hold may be placed on your card. This hold is released once the transaction is completed or declined. stagelinkfy does not store full card numbers. Any suspected fraudulent activity will result in the order being paused and you will be contacted using the details you provided.

Order confirmation and contract formation

A contract is formed only when stagelinkfy sends you an order confirmation email after receiving your payment. Until that point no binding agreement exists. The confirmation will restate the services purchased, the price paid and any applicable terms. You should retain this email for your records. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours please contact stagelinkfy using the details on our Contacts page.

Cancellation rights and applicable periods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of the confirmation email during which you may cancel without giving a reason. This right does not apply once digital content or course access has begun with your consent. For services that have already started the right to cancel may be limited and you may be charged for the portion already delivered. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Refund eligibility, exclusions and non-refundable items

Refunds are available within the cooling-off period if no course materials have been accessed. Once you have started a course or downloaded digital content the service is considered used and refunds are generally not available except where required by law. Non-refundable items include completed live sessions, customised training materials and any promotional bundles clearly marked as such. Refunds will not be issued for change of mind after the cooling-off period or for failure to meet personal expectations not covered by the course description.

Step-by-step procedure to request a refund

To request a refund you must email [email protected] or submit the contact form on our Contacts page. Include your order number, full name, the date of purchase and a brief explanation. Requests must be made within the applicable time limits. You will receive an acknowledgement within five working days. Incomplete requests will be returned for additional information.

Inspection, approval, rejection and notification of the refund decision

stagelinkfy will review each request against the terms of this policy and UK consumer law. You will be notified of the decision by email within 14 days of receiving a complete request. If approved the refund will be processed. If rejected the email will explain the reasons and any further options available to you, including escalation to the relevant ombudsman or court.

Refund method, processing time and receipt of funds

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Credit or debit card refunds typically appear within five to ten working days depending on your provider. Bank transfers may take up to fifteen working days. Digital wallet refunds follow the provider’s standard processing times. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been issued.

Special rules for digital content, subscriptions and promotional offers

Digital course access begins immediately upon confirmation unless you expressly request otherwise. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time but refunds for the current billing period are provided only if the cooling-off period still applies. Promotional offers are subject to their own terms stated at the time of purchase and are generally non-refundable once used.

Failed payments, duplicate charges, chargebacks and suspected fraud

If a payment fails you will be notified and given the opportunity to retry. Duplicate charges will be investigated and refunded where verified. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may lead to suspension of access until resolved. Suspected fraud will be reported to the appropriate authorities and may result in permanent account restrictions.

Mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. These rights include remedies for services not of satisfactory quality or as described. If any term of this policy is found to be unenforceable the remaining terms continue in full force.
